Meet Tony Asaro, Community Relations Director for the Sacramento RiverCats. If you live in Sacramento, chances are you already know him. The Battle team has had the opportunity to view this man in action over Memorial Day weekend and during Veterans Appreciation Day at Raley Field. If Tony’s involved you can count on it being done right. Talk about a gracious host! Tony dressed in appropriate Camouflage RiverCats gear came in on his day off to support Allegiant Battle for Veterans, making all the right introductions, calling RiverCat staff over drawing attention to the booth and immediately wanting to make the first donation for the day. Tony’s pocket was filled with $1.00 bills and he would willingly purchase a band for any child willing to walk up to the booth and inquire about the cost. It’s all the little things that Tony does for the RiverCats, the Sacramento Community, and everywhere he goes – that turn in to BIG things. Allegiant Battle for Veterans appreciates this man and all his contributions.
